- 6:30 pm meet DC licensed tour guide from hotel lobby and depart for private DC evening tour.

Tuesday, April 19, 2022 - Private tour of DC and afternoon Arlington Cemetery
- 7:00 - 8:45 am - Breakfast at hotel
- 9:00 am - 9 am meet DC licensed tour guide from hotel lobby and depart for private DC tour including Downtown DC, Union Station, the White House (photo stop), National Mall, Embassy Row, Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, the Lincoln Memorial (photo stop) and Georgetown.
- Lunch on own in Georgetown or Pentagon City.
- After lunch, continue with Arlington Cemetery tour including Changing of the Guard, JFK & RFK Gravesites. The story of Arlington Cemetery is one of retribution, honor, and remembrance. What is now the cemetery was once the property of the Custis descendants of Martha Washington, and home to Colonel Robert E. Lee. The rolling hills of the Arlington covered hundreds of acres right across the Potomac River from Washington, DC. The Custis-Lee family fled Arlington at the outbreak of the Civil War and the US Army seized the land, ultimately burying Union war dead there to spite Lee for resigning from the US Army and leading a rebel force.

Wednesday, April 20, 2022 - Morning Ford’s Theatre /Petersen House – afternoon Capitol Hill Immersion
- 7:00 - 8:15 am - Breakfast at hotel
- 8:30 am - Meet DC Licensed Tour Guide at hotel. We will take you inside the historic Ford’s theatre where you learn about the night of Lincoln’s assassination. On the night of April 14, 1865, actor and Confederate sympathizer John Wilkes Booth sneaked into the Presidential Box and shot President Abraham Lincoln. Today, the theatre looks very much the way it did that fateful night. Then discover the history of the Petersen House from 1849 to today. Known as the house where Lincoln died, the Petersen House changed from a family home into a museum and is now a historic site.
- Lunch on your own at Capitol Cafeteria
- In the afternoon continue to the Capitol Hill with a public tour of the Capitol Building and visits to the Library of Congress and United States Supreme Court. On this special day we go to the heart of America’s Legislative and Judicial branches of government on a tour of Capitol Hill that explores the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, and the Supreme Court. This tour goes inside each building for a guided tour, and highlights include reserved-entry at the Capitol and entry to the Supreme Court, with a guide to help bring Capitol Hill’s fascinating politics and history to life.

Thursday, April 21, 2022 - Mt. Vernon George Washington Estate
- 7:00 - 7:30 am - Breakfast at hotel
- 8:30 am - Meet DC Licensed Tour Guide at hotel and depart for Mt. Vernon George Washington Estate tour. Taking ferry from DC Wharf to Mt. Vernon George Washington Estate. Mt. Vernon George Washington Estate tour includes mansion and character tours.
- Lunch on your own in Mt. Vernon George Washington Estate
- Private transfer to Smithsonian Museums for afternoon visits
- 5:00pm, REturn to hotel
Friday, April 22, 2022 - Depart Washington, DC on own
- 7:00 - 9:30 am - Breakfast at hotel
- 12:00 pm - Depart hotel
$500 deposit per person required at time of booking. Balance will be due by TBD. Cancellations made by TBD will receive a full refund. Insurance is available for purchase by indiviudal quote.
* At least one adult is required per hotel room. This trip is not chaperoned, rather it is escorted by me. Transportation to DC is not included. All transportation for tours IS included in the package.
