I am an independent travel agent and the owner of The Arranged Life. I enjoy traveling and the planning that must be done to make a memorable vacation. In 2019, I planned an extended family vacation. My sister-in-law told me that I should make a career out of travel planning, and here we are today!
In two quick years, I have arranged vacations and events for over 350 individuals. From a family getaway at Beaches Turks and Caicos in Providenciales to an all-inclusive couples escape for romance in Mexico at an AM Resort property to a five-day business retreat at a Marriott Autograph Collection property.
I do believe that experience matters – so I travel as much as I can.
I arranged a luxury villa stay for my own multigenerational family of 14 in Chalk Sound on Providenciales at the end of 2019. While there, my family spent a day at Beaches Turks and Caicos, reliving our one-week stay from several years ago.
Despite the pandemic, my 2020 started off with a week in Quintaroo, Mexico at the all-inclusive Unico 20N 87W. My husband and I not only had a once-in-a-lifetime experience scuba diving in a cenote, we also took a day trip to Cozumel to scuba dive and enjoy the island’s eateries and shops.
Most of 2020 was spent closer to home. I enjoy cycling and participate in the Pan Mass Challenge each summer. As my ride could be re-imagined this year, I created my own series called The Island Rides. My cycling took me to Block Island in Rhode Island, as well as Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket in Massachusetts.
In November, I was selected for a travel agent trip to the family all-inclusive Beaches Negril in Jamaica. Having been next door to the adult Couples Swept Away, it was great to experience this family-friendly resort.
In addition to being an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, I spent a week at Walt Disney World in late 2020. I also visited Universal Orlando on that trip, having an absolute blast on the new Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure while putting my Universal Orlando Specialist training into action.
In early 2021 I took my daughter down to Palm Beach, Florida for a week. We had such a great experience at the Marriott Autograph Collection’s The Ben. The rooftop pool was just amazing, and a great relaxation spot after “homeschooling” and riding horses in Wellington.
This summer I intend to spend lots of time locally, exploring Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, and my home state of Massachusetts. Later in the year I am looking forward to two agent trips. I’ll be in Aruba in October at the Divi Aruba resort and then the Marriott Stellaris. Later that month I will visit the AMResort family-friendly Dreams Macao and adult-only Secrets Royal Beach, both in Punta Cana.
I look forward to working with you to personalize your travel plans. While not arranging your travel, you can find me exploring new destinations, playing tennis year-round, hiking with my dogs, training for the Pan-Mass Challenge, or spending time with my family in Stowe, VT.
